Symptoms

On attempt to synchronize Office365(v.16.5 or earlier) subscription in CCP, the following error appears:

  "code": 500,
  "message": "The Account is locked. Please try again later.",
  "additionalNonlocalizableMessage": "

The following error appeared in the sitelog on the MOSI gateway server:

2016-05-30 00:11:38,307 [  38] DEBUG aps_endpoint: Sync of user user@example.com failed: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): String or binary data would be truncated.

Cause

There are two possible cases - with mentioned error in sitelog and without it.

  1. In case there is no meaningful error in sitelog, you simply faced the following scenario: Subscription synchronization started, Office365 Endpoint accepted the sync request and start the procedure. This time, account is locked in O365 DB to prevent several simultaneous synchronizations. Then, for some reason, UI session was dropped, you tried to launch sync once again, but with no luck: previous sync did not finish yet. In that case, such behavior is expected. Wait for synchronization completed.

  2. You can observe the error in sitelog. In that case you faced software-related issue #APSA-14006: "Synchronization fails if user specified country that is not in hard-coded list of countries".

Resolution

Software-related issue #APSA-14006 has been fixed in Office365 v.16.5 APS package version. Please, update the Office365 package up to the latest version, according to the Office 365 Integration Release Notes.
